The Bakerboy Flatcap is probably the most famous Flatcap. Great people like David Beckham or Brian Johnson, the lead singer of AC/DC wear these caps. Movies and series also shaped the cap. Not least through the series Peaky Blinders.
The balloon cap is characterized by a short peak and a very rounded look, where the cap rolls over on the sides (some more, some less). With our Bakerboy Schiebermütze Merino in black or brown, you get a very nice, traditional Bakerboy cap. Quite in the style of the 1920s and the Peaky Blinders.
The cap found its origin in the 19th century, where it was very often worn to work clothes to protect against dirt and moisture. Also many bakers wore these balloon caps during work, which eventually led to the current name of the caps.
